2019-11-13

The Martial arts of Taekwondo originated from the ancient Korean art of Taek Kyon, which was used on the Korean peninsula and used a comprehensive system of blows and kicks. Two thousand years ago, the territory of Korea was divided into three kingdoms of Silla, Koguryo and Baekche. Two thousand years ago, the royal tombs of the Koguryo dynasty were decorated with drawings of the martial arts of Taek Kyon, the predecessor of today's Taekwonda. The Kingdom of Silla was the smallest, and its coastline was constantly attacked by Japanese pirates. King Gwahggateo of the Koguryo dynasty therefore sent his neighbors to help his army. At this time, the war nobility Hwarang from the kingdom of Silla met with Taek Kyon for the first time.

The Hwarang-do community took over Taek Kyon as a basic part of his combat training. The training included history, Confucian philosophy, ethics, Buddhist morality, horseback riding, arms combat, military tactics and Taek Kyon. Hwarang men gradually taught Taek Kyon on their travels. This art was cultivated as a sporting discipline until the Koryo dynasty (935 to 1392), when it was once again used as a martial art under the name Subak. The first books were created in the Yi dynasty (1397 to 1907).

In 1909, Koreu began to occupy the Japanese army, which banned the teaching of martial arts. On the contrary, this decision supported a great interest in Subak. After the end of the Second World War, the schools of Bahk Do, Kwon Bop, Kong Soo Do, Tae Soo Do and Dang Soo Do were opened, teaching martial arts. In 1952, President Syngman Rhee, after seeing the demos of Tae Soon Do, decided to become part of the armed Forces training. After two years, this martial art was renamed to Taekwondo.

Taekwondo WTF is a full-contact sport and racers struggle in protective jackets, helmets and protectors. In Taekwondo he pays maximum attention to the steping and techniques of kicks. The combination of different kicks effectively bind dynamically, and the steping is used for very fast attacks against opponents with simultaneous or subsequent counter-attack. Much attention is devoted not only to the techniques of kicks, but also to the teaching of self-defense, fighting, teaching of assemblies, and re-engineering. The training plan includes a sophisticated system of procedures, which helps to continually improve the physical and psychological fitness of the exercisers. Trainers of all ages are devoted to this sport. Great attention is already directed to children of preschool and school age, for which teaching is performed individually according to their age and abilities.
